Ferryboat Cabinda already in Angola

Made in Holland, the Ferryboat, about 48 meters long and with a speed maximum of 20.5 nautical miles per hour, has a capacity for 60 passengers, nine containers and ten vehicles.
The purpose of this acquisition is to overcome Cabinda’s geographic discontinuity and improve the living conditions of the people and the economy of the province.
The Cabinda Ferryboat, which will ensure the maritime transport of cargo and passengers in the Luanda-Soyo-Cabinda route and vice versa, was unloaded on Sunday, the 2nd.
According to a note from the Ministry of Transport to which ANGOP had access, the operation was successful, in compliance with all safety and protection measures, not registering damage, to any member of the teams involved in the operation.
With the arrival of the Ferry, the province of Cabinda (enclave) has another route transport, the sea, in addition to the airway, the only one so far, depending on the geographic discontinuity.
